This drawing series explores the constant jolting of travel and the visual translation of movement. Using Google Maps routes as screenshots, I draw while traveling on public transport, letting the vehicle’s motion fully control the stylus movement on the screen. The resulting chaotic lines are paired with simplified digital route maps. The works have been created over several months on different vehicles and routes, forming a series.
